What is Sentinel Visualizer?

Sentinel Visualizer is a Windows®-based program that provides data visualization, analysis and knowledgebase management all within one product. Sentinel Visualizer produces interactive dynamic link charts, timeline and geospatial views, and provides a variety of analysis tools including Social Network Analysis, temporal analysis and entity and relationship weighting. Sentinel Visualizer includes a multi-user knowledgebase for efficiently and economically storing analysis data.

What is the latest version?

Sentinel Visualizer 4.0 is the latest version. It is the follow-on product to the previous Sentinel Threat Management System (TMS) 3.0.

What are the hardware and software requirements?

Sentinel Visualizer is compatible with the following operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows XP®, Service Pack 2 or later
  • Microsoft Windows Vista®

For multi-user configurations, Sentinel Visualizer supports:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000, all editions
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005, all editions

The following table lists minimum and ideal hardware configurations.

Does Sentinel Visualizer require a dongle or other form of hardware lock?

No. Unlike other link analysis vendors, we believe that forcing users to maintain and use a hardware lock (dongle) is a practice that considers customers as criminals. Sentinel Visualizer does not require any type of hardware/dongle device.

How do I install Sentinel Visualizer

The Sentinel Visualizer software is distributed as a single setup executable. Simply navigate to the directory containing your setup file and run it.

Does Sentinel Visualizer require additional software to be installed?

No. The Sentinel Visualizer Setup program takes care of installing all the requisite system files for operation. If you want to use Sentinel Visualizer in a multi-user configuration, you will need network access to a system running Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005.

How does Product Activation work?

All non-Trial installations of Sentinel Visualizer require online internet activation. The first time you run the software, you enter your product serial number and email address. Sentinel Visualizer takes care of activating the product for you. You can activate a single product serial number on up to two (2) computers as long as you don't run both copies simultaneously.
